Spray bar for rotary drum vacuum filtration
Spray bar are typically constructed from corrosion-resistant materials (such as stainless steel), with evenly arranged spray holes and dedicated nozzles distributed along the pipe body. This design ensures uniform coverage of water flow along the axial direction of the drum, preventing insufficient cleaning in localized areas.
The spray pressure can be adjusted according to characteristics such as filter cake thickness and viscosity (usually ranging from 0.2 to 0.5 MPa). This not only guarantees effective cleaning but also avoids damage to the filter cloth or dispersion of the filter cake caused by excessive pressure.
The installation position of the spray pipe is precisely matched with the drum rotation speed and vacuum zone distribution. This ensures that cleaning is completed while the filter cake has just formed and not yet get away from the vacuum zone during drum rotation, maximizing cleaning efficiency.
Through its precise cleaning action, the spray pipe enhances filter cake quality while protecting core filtration components, serving as a critical guarantee for the continuous and efficient operation of vacuum drum filters.
