belt discharge rotary drum vacuum filtration
The rotary drum vacuum filtration works much like the scraper type, but with one key difference: it removes filter residue using a belt-folding method. That’s why its filter cloth is wrapped in a zigzag pattern around the drum and various rollers. This design works especially well for filtering fine, sticky materials.
In contrast, when scraper filters handle fine, sticky materials, they run into problems like difficult residue removal, poor air permeability, frequent filter cloth clogging, overly wet filter cakes, and low production capacity. The belt-fold filter, though, largely fixes these issues by changing how residue is removed and improving filter cloth cleaning.
After the filter cake passes through the vacuum zone, the filter cloth is pulled out of the drum by a set of rollers to unload the residue and get cleaned. Once cleaned, the cloth goes back into the drum to start working again. The belt-fold filter uses a simple trick: the filter cloth wraps around a discharge roller, and the change in curvature makes the cake fall off automatically. Scrapers or other tools can also help with this. This method boosts filtering capacity, and since no air blowing is needed, the filter cake doesn’t soak up extra water and get wetter.
Another advantage is that the belt-fold filter pulls the cloth outside the drum, leaving plenty of time to clean it effectively. Usually, pressurized water rinses both sides of the cloth. If needed, brushes or cloth beaters can be used for a deeper clean, ensuring the cloth stays breathable.
main features
The belt discharge discharge discharge rotary vacuum drum filter enables continuous, efficient solid-liquid separation with vacuum-driven filtration, belt-based cake discharge, automatic cloth cleaning, adjustable speed, and corrosion-resistant material contact.

Belt discharge continuous rotary drum filter Manufacturer
As a Belt discharge continuous rotary drum filter manufacturer, we offer fully customized solutions tailored to specific material properties, production capacities, and on-site requirements, including bespoke dimensions, material selections, and optional system integrations.
Applications
The belt-fold vacuum filter is great for dewatering fine, sticky materials. It’s widely used to filter flotation concentrates of non-ferrous metals, coal flotation products, and to treat wastewater.
