Spray Nozzle for Rotary Vacuum Filter
The spray nozzle of a rotating vacuum drum filter is one of the core components responsible for filter cloth cleaning and cake washing.
During filtration, filter residue accumulates on the filter cloth. The nozzle rinses the cloth surface with high-pressure water (or washing liquid) to regenerate the cloth, ensuring consistent filtration efficiency afterward. If the filter cake requires purification, the nozzle sprays washing liquid onto the cake on the drum to remove soluble impurities from it.
When the drum rotates to the “washing/regeneration zone”, the nozzles activate synchronously. Working with the vacuum system, they complete cake washing and cloth cleaning—making them key parts that enable the vacuum drum filter to operate continuously and stably. Multiple nozzles are mounted on a spray pipe.
